Community Driven Special Projects — A Gathering Place for Bruins
Some Alumni programming targets specific audiences, while other presentations have universal appeal. The Bruin Promise gives each member of the UCLA family access to information, participation, and the benefits it yields. The following programs celebrated, informed, and united us. We joined the conversation and left feeling more hopeful, joyful, and thoughtful.

The Diversity Digest
CASE Bronze Award Winner
UCLA Alumni Diversity Programs and Initiatives
This flagship weekly email newsletter offers Bruin community members ways to engage through a diverse, social justice lens. Combining news, events and learning opportunities for a constituent group, the Digest plays a fundamental role in highlighting the successes of UCLA's diverse alumni. In addition, the newsletter's opt-in nature supports more controversial topics, including the Black Lives Matter movement, addressing anti-Asian hate, gender recognition and, most recently, the insurrection at the Capitol on January 6.

Men's Basketball Appreciation Card From Fans
UCLA Alumni Marketing
For the marketing team, little is more gratifying than trying some new form of alumni engagement and sticking the landing. After the Final Four, we heard that the basketball team might have only felt the disappointment of the loss and not realized how impactful their run had been for so many Bruin fans. So we asked Bruins to send a note to lift the team, and more than 2100 answered the call.

alumni.ucla.edu - A Refreshed Association Website
UCLA Alumni Marketing – Application Development Services - Fundi Design
The previous Alumni Affairs website was beautiful to the eye but lacked functionality and intuitiveness. In addition, it missed the mark for ADA compliance and had an event calendar that was comical in its inefficiency. The refreshed Alumni website addressed all of the most pressing issues, and statistically, visitors to the site are staying longer.
